2008 Footskills D-League General Information

icon_d_league.gifWe are proud to announce the return of the Footskills Developmental League (D-League) to the Irish Sports Dome (Rosemount, MN). Back for our 7th season (third season in Rosemount), Minnesota's most competitive indoor league will once again be open to interested teams.

Though scores and standing will be kept, with play-off and championship games during the final weeks, the emphasis here will be on player and team development. Footskills has led the way in our state with progressive indoor rules and procedures that allow for maximum "play" time for participants as well as help ensure more competitive and challenging games. Moreover, the leagues are put together by one of the area's most knowledgeable soccer professionals who knows the game and the climate of Minnesota competitive soccer. This helps ensure competitive and challenging games for all participants, increasing the potential for development and enjoyment by all.

But don't take our word for it. Here's what past participants are saying about what we offer.

"We've had teams play in many various indoor leagues around the Twin Cities and the Footskills D-League is simply the most organized and professionally run league in town. Mark does a fantastic job of building competitive leagues for teams of all levels of play and the kids always have a great soccer experience." (Coach Ryan, 2006)

"My team has been involved with the D-League for 2 years already and followed Mark when he moved the league to Rosemount from Woodbury. The Irish Dome is the premier indoor facility in the area. The boys love the surface, and you can't beat the warmth of the arena during the winter months. People who have played at other local facilities will appreciate this little fact!" (Coach Kelly, 2006)

"This is simply the best indoor league my daughter has participated in here in Minnesota.  Organized, efficient, and competitive.  A real class act!" (Pat G, 2007)

"Finally and indoor league run by someone who has actually had high level playing experiences and knows the true pulse of Minnesota soccer.  You would not believe how this equates to an extremely positive experience for the players, coaches, and parents involve.  We'll be back next year!" (Coach Mike, 2007)

Our league has filled to capacity the past six years, with over 25 teams wait-listed in 2007. Age group brackets will fill up quickly.

Get Registered

Coaches, managers, or other volunteers the team has managed to rope into helping may register teams online for the upcoming 2008 Footskills D-League.  You will need a credit card as online registration requires a $250 non-refundable* deposit with your registration.  Please note the $850 balance will be due at check in prior to your first scheduled D-League game.

Or, you may download, complete, and submit the Mail In Registration Form (pdf).  Mail In Registrations are not considered complete unless the $250 non-refundable deposit accompanies the form.

* We are pretty fair people.  If we can't place your team in a competitive league, we will not keep your deposit.  Even if you are accepted into the league and back out at the last minute, we will flip a coin to see if we refund your money, so you have a chance.  We just like to say "non-refundable" because it sounds good.
